It counts with various urban centers from which La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz stand out.
Its commercial structure developed at a slower pace compared to the regional average, due to political and historical factors, aggravated by the handicap of being landlocked and with an insufficient structure for land or river access.
The globalization has given an impulse to overcome those conditions. With an interesting internal market and a growing commerce of border tourism, the country has a very interesting commercial potential.
